Rolls-Royce is an English manufacturer of luxury limousines. The idea of collaboration between Charles Rolls and Henry Royce arose in 1904 over lunch. In the same year, the first model – 10HP – was created. The factories in Manchester were built for the next two years. In 1908 the plants were moved to Derby and in 1946 to Crewe.

The origins of the brand date back to 1914, when one of the six brothers of the Maserati family – Alfieri, founded his own workshop in Bologna, Officine Alfieri Maserati. Initially, the brothers built racing cars for Diatto, but after 12 years they decided to create their own brand, and in the same year Alfieri led his Maserati Tipo 26 to the first victory in the Targa Florio race. In 1937, the brand was bought by Orsi, and 31 years later by Citroën.

Bugatti is a French manufacturer of exclusive sports and racing cars. The founder of the brand in 1909 was Ettore Bugatti, and the plants were located in Alsatian Molsheim.
